Other Names: Isobutyl Alcohol and 2-methylpropyl alcohol
Isobutanol is a feedstock in the manufacturing of isobutyl acetate which is then used for the priduction of lacquer and coating. As for it's solvent propeties, it is used for paint, varnish, ink, polish additives and automotive paint cleanr additives.
